I've been teaching scuba for over 15 years and have seen different prices work in different areas....For a program that includes all the gear and all the books, and certifying at level one (Open Wate DIver PADI) SCUBA how much would you be willing to pay? What area of the globe, country are you in?

Answer
A PADI open water 5 day intensive course usually ends up at about 200 to 300 euro. You can also do it over several weeks at weekends etc to spread out the cost
